East Jakarta Environmental Sub-agency Head, Eko Gumelar said the activity was already started yesterday and to be continued today.

"We also deploy 38 large compactor trucks, 17 small compactors, 39 pickup trucks, 14 shovel loaders, and 77 carts," he added.
He continued that garbage transportation point are also prepared to ease the mobility. Those locations are Pelangi Bridge on the border of Cililitan, East Jakarta and Kalibata, South Jakarta.
"Next are on Jalan Inpeksi Ciliwung, and others are previously flooded areas," he continued.
The sub-agency, he stated, also deploy four portable toilet units, 26 dust bin units, and two water tanker trucks to help with the sanitation needs of flood survivors.
"The sanitation facilities are placed at refugees camps," he stated.
Meanwhile, Jatinegara District's Environmental Implementer Unit Head, Salam, explained the garbage handling in Kampung Pulo and Kebon Pala, Kampung Melayu Urban Village is still running.
"There are 20 personnel, two shovel loaders, five big dump trucks, and two small dump trucks deployed," he explained.
According to him, there were 125 tons of garbage collected during the handling yesterday at residentials.
"We also cooperate with related agencies personnel and residents to ensure that residential is clean," he said.
